Dr Shaymaa Al-Saffar has worked across various healthcare settings in several states throughout Australia, gaining extensive experience and refining her skills. She found her professional and personal home in Adelaide, where she completed her general practice training.

Dr Al-Saffar has a broad range of experience in general practice, with a special interest in women’s health. She holds a diploma and certificate in women’s health (now known as PTP). Her other areas of expertise include chronic disease management, mental health, and paediatrics. She also provides contraceptive services, including the insertion and removal of devices such as Mirena, and performs minor surgical procedures.

Outside of work, Dr Al-Saffar enjoys travelling, cooking, and spending quality time with her two cheeky children.
